Mr.Unnamed !!!!

Its been a while and I was away from this space for unknown reasons

Waking up in the morning, found a soft corner in my darkened heart for the small fish in my fish tank.
That fish faced an inhuman me, who left it unfed for months together apart from occasional beer or corn flakes which I would have.

Least bothered on the deep algae formation on the tank walls.
This unnamed fish always lived with a hope that I would show some mercy on it.

That mercy day was this Sunday.
Immediately listed out the accessories needed :
- Algae scrub pad for glass fish tank
- Siphon for removing the dirt water
- Small fountain motor for tank water flow
- Small heater to maintain the tank water temperature
- Small can of fish food
- Tap water cleaner

Found few things already present in the fish tank ( but not even in the slightest form of acceptance) and drove to nearest pet shop and bought the required equipments.

The shop keeper gave a "who the hell is " look on me as I asked him to show me a demo of cleaning.
Kudos to that guy for his express verbal demo with no practicals.

Hurried back home and carefully transferred "Mr.Unnamed" to a bowl and kept in my radar.
Started cleaning the tank, removed the dirt water, conditioned the tap water.
The cleaned gravels looks fresh and the conditioned water gave the apt look for the tank.
The Fish tank got its pro look once the plants and the motor and the heater were in place as per standards

The small broken bridge gave a perfect look to the tank.
Once the lights were on, the game was on!!!

With a welcoming note went near the small bowl, shocked to find Mr.Unnamed was not there.Found him lying on the floor struggling with his last efforts.
Placed him immediately in the bowl and found him unmoved.
Seconds later he started swimming with a jerk. My heart pounded in Joy.
But that Joy did not last longer, Mr.Unnamed slowly got his pulse rate reduced and got some random movement stopping now and then.

Gave him nice comfort death bed in the new aptly cleaned fish tank.

Atlast, after 5 minutes of survival , around 7.57 PM 09/05/10 passed away in peace leaving the Fish tank, just a tank.

Where I went wrong ?

- In having the intentions of cleaning the tank
- In buying the cleaning tools
- In shifting Mr.Unnamed

Undoubtedly, my carelessness of handling the location transfer pays "Mr.Unnamed" life.
Sometimes we learn from our mistakes as our management gurus say.
One such learning on this sunday !!!
